Hire trades workers in the Baton Rouge area
Red Stick Trades is a local job board for welders, pipefitters, electricians, instrument technicians, millwrights, riggers and other industrial trades. Posting is free during launch.
What you get

- Applicants come to you. List an application link, an email address, a phone number to call or text, a walk-in address, or any mix. We do not take applications or hold resumes.
- Up to 30 days online. Or until the last day to apply that you choose.
- A site built for the trades. Our guides and listings are written for people who work in the Baton Rouge industrial corridor.
How it works
- Fill out the short form. It takes about three minutes.
- We email you a link. Open it and press the button to confirm your email address.
- Most postings go live within about 10 minutes. We check some by hand first, for example a first posting from a personal email address, and email you when it is decided.
What we keep off the site
We do not list jobs that charge applicants a fee, commission-only or multi-level marketing offers, or openings that are not real. That protects the workers who use the site, and it keeps your posting next to postings that are worth reading.
